Big, and point of view

As I was taking pictures for this Photo101 assignment, I was thinking about how my perspective on God can change depending on my point of view. I’ve studied this topic most lately in the book of Job (see chapters 38-42:5), and a Bible Study called Behold Your God by John Snyder.

I can make God very small if my focus is on myself and my problems. I can worry that my situations are too big for me to handle, and forget that I’m not supposed to handle them in the first place, but give them to my heavenly Father to deal with. casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you. I Peter 5:7 NASB

God is very very big when I look at Him in the ways He shows Himself from the Bible, when He gives us words and descriptions of His character. So I look for Him carefully, and through the truth of His Word, and He is more than big enough to handle my troubles.
